Fieldwork
Talia Brown

Available for pre-order, shipping December 2026.

Fieldwork collects simple recipes for feeding groups, shared and tested in the Land Arts of the American West kitchen. For twenty-five years, Texas Tech University’s Land Arts of the American West has traveled each fall through the American Southwest, concentrating and nourishing inquiry into layered and rapidly changing landscapes of human construction, wilderness, and waste. The recipes in Fieldwork, prepared in an ever-evolving communal mobile kitchen, have supported this inquiry and community on-the-road, and remain porous, shareable, scaleable, simple, for communities working and thinking together.
